Where the Boats Go

• 🌴 Phi Phi and Maya Bay — the cliffs from The Beach, snorkelling in Pileh Lagoon and Monkey Beach. Also as a longer trip with Bamboo and Khai islands, or on the scheduled ferry if you are staying overnight.
• 🏝 James Bond Island — Khao Phing Kan from The Man with the Golden Gun, plus sea caves and canoeing between the karsts of Phang Nga Bay. Pick the speedboat for a fast day or the big boat for a slower, shadier one.
• 🐠 Similan Islands — the clearest water in the Andaman and the best snorkelling in Thailand. A national park, so the season is limited.
• 🚤 Racha and Coral Island — close to shore, calm and running year round. Coral Island on its own is the easiest half-day on the water.
• 🏝 Two days on Phi Phi and Bamboo — the islands in the early morning, before the boats arrive. The trip guests most often say they wish they had booked.

If you would rather be in the water than on it, there is also diving for certified and first-time divers, and sea fishing over the southern reefs.
